The woman behind the man who made the movies. Without Patricia, Hitch wouldn't have been Hitch, by that I mean they were a team and Pat played an important part in the movie making process. If memory serves me, she read the scripts and if Pat didn't like the story, Hitch wouldn't make the movie.

That description sounds much more like Patricia's mother, Alma.

Holy smokes! I hadn't realized that Patricia H. was still alive. She was an interesting lady. I loved her acting in Strangers on a Train (1951).

Oh yeah! I was thinking of Hitch's wife and got the names mixed up.
