I love all Metal and rock I was wondering as there loads of people on here from all over the world what rock/metal bands would you recommend, here are some bands id say are awsome-

Metallica,
Queen,
Slipknot,
Slayer,
Soulfly,
Sepultura,
Killswitch Engage,
Bullet for my valentine,
Cavalera Conspiracy.

If you know of any bands, I and the other mofos on here would enjoy then post them on so we can check them out, and also If there are any local bands near where you live that you think are great post them to. There are quite a few bands from round where I live, like Bullet for my valentine, stereophonics, funeral for a friend. But apart for bullet I dont really like the others lol

Especially the hardcore action of "Muskrat Love". It'll knock the nuts right off of your hat. How your nuts got on your hat in the first place, I'll never know. Hell, I don't want to know.

A system of cells interlinked
Now, that's funny.

But seriously, although I like other forms of music more (ie Psytrance) I am also a pretty big rock/metal listener. Some of the artists I like:

Tool
Radiohead
Megadeth
Opeth
Old School Metallica (Kill Em All - Black Album)
Queensryche
Kultur
Pink Floyd
Rush

And many more!

Well, I love many from the 70's & 80's, but I'm not sure how many I should name.

RATT
Aerosmith
ZZ Top
Van Halen
Ozzy Osbourne
Bon Jovi
. . .

I love Rob Zombie, Metallica, and I also really like Sister Machine Gun, but I'll warn you now, they use the F word, and G D in some of their songs. Hell, in most, I suppose. Just in case that bothers you.

I really enjoy both rock music, and heavy metal, so I'll have to get back to you. I must dwell. That, and cook dinner.

I am half agony, half hope.
AC/DC
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Ronnie James Dio

If you like heavy stuff but intelligently made (i.e. not mindless shouting etc) definitely try Fall of Troy (Manipulator particularly) or Sikth, two of the best hardcore and general best bands around atm.

Thanks, Cleveland has an awesome metal scene. Your choice in music is equally impressive.

Who watches the Watchbear?
W.A.S.P.! I'm especially a fan of their concept albums, mainly The Crimson Idol, which is absolute genius. The Neon God part 1 and 2 - two separate albums - both good, but not as great as the Crimson Idol.
