Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, & King Hereafter
Okay, my little rant on this. When I chose the committee, I did so in hopes of destroying any bias, and that has been handled nicely. However, I cannot help but show my bias here as I look at the options. So, here we go:

1. Hugo for Picture but not Director? And vice-versa for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy? What?!?

2. Gary Oldman surprisingly pulled in as the fifth choice. I say surprisingly because he nearly did not make it; almost lost it to Brad Pitt.

3. No Christopher Plummer for Supporting Actor; he lost a tie breaker to Jonah Hill. All I could think was "Seriously?!?"

4. The Adventures of Tintin was completely snubbed in the Animated Film category. I was the only one voting for it in the nominations. Meanwhile, Gnomeo and Juliet and Cars 2 almost made it in.

5. Sorry, Transformers fans, but Michael Bay's Transformer movies suck. Even so, it still nabbed a nomination. Granted, it was in Sound Mixing, but I can probably think of half a dozen movies that would be better candidates.

I will continue doing these awards, but this stuff is the reason that I'm having to do a separate thing on YouTube where I give my personal opinion on various awards and years. I will allow this, though I do not support all of the choices 100%.

Sorry for going off like this, please pardon me on that, and I do hope you have a wonderful day/night.

What can I say? 2011 was a weak year. 2010 was good, 2012 was good. Good years tend to happen every other year, but not always. Does that even make sense?
