Movie plot elements that are hard for you to watch?

Excess gore when not merited. Now if its in a comedic scenario, okay. But gore, for the sake of gore, I'll pass. Hence why horror is one of my least favorite genres.

I'm not a big Horror fan either, but it's not because I have a problem with gore in any particular context; it's more because I have a problem with movies that feel unnecessarily sadistic, and Horror is a genre that can easily overboard with the sadism, even in well-directed examples like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's partly the same reason why I have such an up-and-down relationship with Tarantino's work, even though he has such undeniable talent otherwise.
