Society ennobler, last seen in Medici's Florence
I'm still waiting for something else I've at least seen to show up.
I guess when we step into top 20 the things gonna change.

#25. (25.1.) Frequency - 18 pts. (included in 3 lists)

Director: Gregory Hoblit
Starring: Dennis Quaid, Jim Caviezel, Andre Braugher, Elizabeth Mitchell

I love Frequency, and not just because I'm a New York Mets fan. It's a great mystery, and a fascinating time travel movie with a twist.

#24. Unbreakable - 19 pts. (included in 3 lists)

Director: M. Night Shyamalan
Starring: Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Robin Wright, Davis Duffield

Unbreakable was #8 on my ballot. Overall, it's a solid, grounded superhero film that some people who don't care for the genre may enjoy.

#22. Sexy Beast - 21 pts. (included in 5 lists)

Director: Jonathan Glazer
Starring: Ray Winstone, Ben Kingsley, Ian McShane, Amanda Redman

I saw Sexy Beast back in 2000, and remember liking it. However, right now all I can remember is Ben Kingsley screaming "NO" a hundred times

Unbreakable has grown in appreciation for me. I was very on the fence on my first viewing, but have seen it a couple of times since and I dig it.

I saw Emperor's New Groove a couple of years ago for the first time. It's a lot of fun, but it has a special place in my heart cause it's the first film I saw with my kids.

#24. Unbreakable - 19 pts. (included in 3 lists)

Director: M. Night Shyamalan
Starring: Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Robin Wright, Davis Duffield

It's been a while since I watched Unbreakable, but I remember liking it a lot when I saw it. I'm planning to rewatch it for the upcoming 2000s Countdown because if it's as good as I remember it being, I think it has a good chance to make my list.

#23. The Emperor's New Groove - 20 pts. (included in 4 lists)

Director: Mark Dindal
Starring: David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, Patrick Warburton
I'm not a fan of David Spade, so I had low expectations for The Emperor's New Groove, but it turned out to be a very funny movie.

#20. (20.1.) Quills - 25 pts. (included in 3 lists)

Director: Philip Kaufman
Starring: Geoffrey Rush, Kate Winslet, Joaquin Phoenix, Michael Caine

Thursday Next's Avatar
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.
Obviously Quills was my number 1. Disappointed it only made it to 20.
Believe I had "Quills" at 2 or 3.

Maybe between the three of us we can get it onto the 2000s countdown

#18. Billy Elliot - 30 pts. (included in 5 lists)
Very touching movie. Gary Lewis as the father is superb.
One of my most loved films of the new century. I've seen it at least 5-6 times through the years. It is #3 in my ballot.
