1) Boyhood - despite everything our protagonist had been through throughout his life-so-far, he manages to find momentary peace. We do not know what is next in store for him, but the film ends on a positive that provides hope for his future.

2) The Pursuit of Happyness - despite the many hurdles that Smith's character must face, he is eventually successful through his hard work and determination.

3) Groundhog Day - like Murray's character we all often deal with problems in our lives incorrectly until we figure out how to do the right thing. We learn from our mistakes, and although we do not get the chance to relive our days, we do have the opportunity to improve ourselves through understanding the mistakes we make through life.
