I'd be fairly surprised if Ohtani gets suspended, but obviously you have to factor that in a tiny bit in the value. But 3rd and 5th is within the ballpark of normal value for a late 1st rounder anyway, potentially, so even a 10% dip to hedge your bets makes it pretty straightforward.

This pretty much sums it up from my perspective. I didn't want to just give him away since it felt like my season was largely dependent on him and I do think he'll get to keep playing, but it's Fantasy Baseball, and I don't fantasize about having the sword of Damocles hanging over my head. If we had made this deal without any threat of suspension, it would have looked different.
As is, Tongo now has three players picked before my first.
