The truth is in here
This is my ranking of 2017's movies:

The Book Of Birdie (Great artistic surreal drama, saw it at a film festival)
The Other Side Of Hope (Aki Kaurismäki's last movie? I hope not.)
Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Yes, I'm really going there)
Borg (Unusually top-notch performance from Shia LaBeouf)
Darkland (Intense Danish revenge thriller)
Dunkirk (Nolan's best? Not really. But still a great movie on its own.)
Thelma (Very beautiful and yet also haunting Norwegian drama)
Baby Driver (He brought it on himself, but I'm gonna miss seeing Spacey in movies)
Molly's Game (Funny, well-told and superb acting from everyone. Aaron Sorkin has made an impressive directorial debut)
The Killing Of A Sacred Deer (Definitely Yorgos Lanthimos' strongest work so far)
Loving Vincent (Gorgeous paint animation and an interesting story)
Copenhague: A Love Story (The other Danish movie I saw this year. It was really good and kinda fascinating, but very hard to watch at times because of how awkward and eerily true-to-life clumsy everyone acted)
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 (Pretty good sequel)
All Eyez On Me (Very underrated biographical movie)
Get Out (It's good, a little overrated though)
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle (Surprisingly entertaining, I speculated all the time that this would suck)
T2: Trainspotting (All right sequel with a dumb title. It's nowhere near the classic original Trainspotting, but nostalgic and fun. However, because it really dragged in some parts and the plot was thin, it's lower on my list.)
The Snowman (Decent, not a brilliant thriller, but unworthy of the heavy backlash)
Life (Okay one-time watch, some parts I liked, some parts I didn't like. Feels like a light Alien. The acting was mostly passable, although Ryan Reynolds in the movie I gotta say had the MOST annoying character ever.)
Alien: Covenant (The most disappointing Alien movie ever made, and my least favorite out of all of them)
It (My God, overpraised as ****. This was so poorly made. The acting was mostly good, but the movie tried so hard to be scary, and yet I felt nothing except jumped a few times. Even when they've got an atmospheric scene going, they ruin it by a cheap jumpscare. Bill Skarsgård wasn't even that good. Nope, this gets a thumbs down from me.)
The Problem With Apu (I hated absolutely everything about this documentary. Hari's whiny unlikable personality, the constant strawman arguments, the ridiculous beef against Hank Azaria, and even the editing was really annoying a lot of the time. Imagine if Mr. Enter made a doc, this would pretty much be it. I haven't loathed a documentary this much since Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.)

I am not into making long lists. 2017, the only two movies that stuck in my head was Raw and Thelma. Hollywood Lady Bird. Not considering the movies that were nominated for last year's Oscars though.
