Some of them I have watched, like Scream, Alien, The Matrix, Lethal Weapon and some others I never watched, like the Planet of the Apes franchise.

Blew my mind the other day when i found out Dominion is a Paul Schrader film.

How about all the classic Star Wars stuff? How would you rate those?

Unfortunately, The Last Jedi is one of those movies that has nothing, absolutely nothing good (imo of course). More of the same in SW is normal since the second trilogy, but the movies still retained the spirit of the originals and functioned as pure fanservice. The Last Jedi doesn't work even as fanservice. I did not want to hate this film so much, SW is one of my childhood franchises and I will always have a special affection (even for the bad prequels), but this new trilogy is dead and buried deep in my heart.

I can understand if some people liked it, especially the new fans and some who never took SW very seriously. It's stupid, but I used to take SW very seriously, reading books, watching the animations and all that the extended universe had to offer. I swear I tried to see this movie with my mind wide open...
I'll try again in a few years, and who knows I change my mind?

I want to rewatch them before rating, I'll do in the near future. I used to LOVE the original trilogy and I liked EPISODE III a lot, if I rate this films now, I'll be rating just memories.

I dislike TLJ, but I would still give it a 1 or 2 star rating using your scale. Most (all?) of my issues are with the writing, as well and the characterizations. Visually, the film is pretty awesome. Sound design also really well done.

I only heard about it four days ago when I watched LEGION and went to research on the franchise. I'm looking forward to seeing.

You know... I think you're probably right. I was so anger in the movie theaters watching this film that I don't think I paid much attention in the sound design. The visual was ok (that Throne Room was really well made) but that it's just the expecting for a $317 million movie.

It's pretty bad tbh, much better than The Beginning but not good. The first and third are the only good ones.

I think people tend to overreact to Last Jedi, i don't care about it at all though and don't care if people think it's an atrocity. I just can't take anyone seriously who thinks it's worse than Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones however, unless they've not seen them since they were 9 or something.

Not sure if it's worse than The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones (but they aren't good films if I remember well), I need to rewatch the second trilogy asap.

Both Menace and Clones, which were already bad, haven't aged well at all, so I would rather sit through TLJ before either of those two flicks.

That said, I am not planning on watching any of them anytime soon.

It's entirely possible. TLJ has levels to it beyond settling for superficial fanservice, enough so that puts it well ahead of the likes of AVPR.
