Looks like I have my first casualty with The Arctic Monkeys, though I suspected that'd be the case. It's a shame, though, as that song's as catchy as hell. I quite liked The Misfits song and the Star Wars theme, but as I don't care for Piano Man (and most Billy Joel songs I've heard) and really, really hate every version of Unchained Melody that I've ever head (and lets face it, there's been a few) those were easy. Slightly surprised how much I liked the Nightwish track, as it sounds like videogame music, but it's up against one of my all-time favourite tracks, so it was doomed from the start. Almost anything up against Mumford & Sons is onto a winner in my book. ****ing folk music.
It's why we plugged in guitars, people! James Blunt? How much did you win?
I'm not much of a Beatles fan, so while they've been OK songs, they've not been up against anything much, IMO. I voted for Eloise because it's a really good song. I was thinking of nominating it myself.
