Bob le Flambeur (1956)
"Jean-Luc Godard's favorite Melville movie. Often claimed it to be the height of French films inspired by American noir."
"Stanley Kubrick once said in an interview he gave up doing "Crime Films" because Jean-Pierre Melville did the greatest with Bob le Flambeur (1956) and Jacques Becker did the second best with Touchez Pas au Grisbi (1954). "
"Favorite gangster film of Quentin Tarantino."
Yeah, I'm looking forward to this one.
Also, I already watched Melville's Le Cercle Rouge and Le Samouraļ, which I both loved.
