Hey CrazyBlonde.

You still havn't identified which typr of dulcimer ... although I assume it is the plucking type.

I really enjoy bands which experiment with non-typical 'rock' instruments ... John Cale (Velvet Underground) with viola, Tom Waits with his industrial percussion, Nik Turner (Hawkwind and Inner City Unit) playing sax and flute. There is an AusIndi band from 70's-80's Celibate Rifles where one song 'Electrovision Mantra' which has sitar as the lead instument played by Kent Steedman.

Do you jam with anyone? apart from son (cos I'm guessing he is a mean percussionist)
