It's nuts that Thriller isn't an option, and would have been my choice from the sort of popular schmaltz that made this list. Haven't listened enough Printz to have a favorite album, but he certainly deserves a shot at the poll too. Actual favorite is something by B.H. Surfers, Misfits, Foetus or The Fall, and 3 Ft. High and Rising. Oh yeah and Technodelic (YMO). I think the only album from the poll I've really listened to was The Joshua Tree (now long forgotten, for better or for worse) but have heard songs off most of the others.

Some I like that I think are from the 80s, I'm not good when it comes to release years:

^ I adore David Bowie and most of my favourite albums of his come from the 70s but I think this one came out in the early 80s.

Joy Division

^ And any other album the Pixies released in the 80s.

My two favourite albums from Iron Maiden were released in the early 80s:

I like the other Iron Maiden albums of the 80s too, especially The Number of the Beast.

Aliens score by James Horner

If Disintegration was voted the greatest album of the 80's, I don't think I could argue against that. It's a flawless record.
