Persona

I watched "Small Time Crooks" and "State and Main" today.

what was state and main like? i'm looking forward to watching it when it's released on video and dvd here. i like all david mamet's movies but i'm especially keen to see this one because rebecca pidgeon's in it.

i really liked her character in the spanish prisoner. i like the way she transposes words in a sentence ('it shows to go you...') and also the way she smiles at campbell scott at the end.

I can pretend that things last.

Is there such a thing as a David Mamet movie without Rebecca Pigeon in it?

I liked State & Main. I thought it was a funny, entertaining little movie. It was certainly worth the rental fee and sitting through it. It was nothing spectacular, but it was worth sitting through.

I watched Bamboozled, Traffic, Dog Park, Chuck & Buck, Cheaters (the HBO movie with Jeff Daniels) and something else that I've already forgotten over the past couple of days.

O Brother Where Art Thou? That was the other one I watched. I liked it, though it wasn't my favorite Coen Brothers movie.

What was your beef with Moulin Rouge, and Tomb Raider, Fart?

Hey dillane, did you watch Red and White yet? Seen any other Fellini apart from 8 1/2? Do tell!

I watched:

The Family Man (boo...cop-out ending)
City of Angels (original was waaay better)
Fanny and Alexander (long version)
The Taste of Cherry (boooring!)

I like your happy face rating system!
