Has to be the Wild Bunch's finale for best movie death(s). How about the carnage that follows the line (delivered by William Holden), "If they move kill em'!".

Has anyone seen the film Battle Royale. The best way I can describe it, is as an updated version of Lord of the Flies for a media age. set in an alternative Japan where they didn't lose WWII, the adults rebel against the kids, setting up the game show Battle Royale where a class of high school kids, are dumped on an island and only the last surviving student can go home alive! Read about it on IMDB if you like the sound of it, it contains some of the most memorable movie deaths I've ever seen (around 43 individual deaths). A warning though, It's pretty subversive stuff to see teens mowing each other down and the violence quota is high.

I would definitely say Gibson in Braveheart, that is the first one that came to my mind.

Possible Spoilerz:

I'd say my least favorite death in a movie was Pay it Forward. That was totally unexpected and un-necessary.It changed the whole direction of the movie. The whole candle light vigil was way sappy and overdone.

My vote for FUNNIEST death scene goes to Pee Wee Herman in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

Ewww, augh, ahhh, uuugh.

I mean, what's your encore? Do you, like, anally rape my mother while pouring sugar in my gas tank?

I ain't gettin' in no fryer!
I would have to say...that lady from Austin Powers 2, Spits or Swallows, whatever her name is. LOL..."WHY WON'T YOU DIE!!"

Well, the most memorable, in my opinion, would have to be Marlon Brando in APOCALYPSE NOW.

My personal favorite, however is Melanie's death in GONE WITH THE WIND. "Be kind to Captain Butler...he loves you so..." Man, I love that movie!

I can pretend that things last.
What men ?

What about Darth Vader or the Emperor ? I can never forget that.

Brad in Meet Joe Black. That was one bumpy ride... I thought that the scene in Bride of Chucky with the truck hitting the guy and he explodes from the inside out was a good one, too. Good effects.

Gaston's death in Beauty and the Beast.

Is it appropriate for me to have laughed at that choice?
