WELCOME
TO

HALL OF FAME!!

Hello, grab a bean bag, turn on a lava lamp and spend some time in the "Me" Generation. Where personal attire were, a bit courageous, to say the least, grindhouse and exploitation films were king, and doing copious amounts of cocaine was actually smiled upon.

The rules of Hall of Fame are pretty much the same as others before:
You nominate a movie, PM said movie to the Host, said me,
I post all the nominations, everyone involved watches all the movies, write up a review for each movie and once done, make a list (favorite to least favorite), PM said list to said Host and at the end: big reveal, game show antics and prizes by made up sponsors (which, no one actually really gets anyways)

And yes, if you join, please finish.
If you do join and don't finish, I won't hunt you down, murder you and make some sort of southern delicacy out of you, wear you skin for a mask and jiggle my belly while waving a chainsaw in the air.
BUT one, or more of the others here might - just for the fun of it. While the rest of us cheer them on.
Just saying.

I haven't posted mentions right away, but depending on how things go, I might.

There's no specific deadline for when nominations need to be in, it may be a week from today, may be sooner, depending on how much time is necessary for everyone who joins in.

And, yes, we will do the "Guess Who Nominated What" game before posting them.

I am considering doing 1 week per player for the final deadline and will post the final decision/date here for everyone.

I intend to be laid back about time restrictions, so, you have time, my friend
In that case there are two, maybe three things I'm thinking of picking as my nom. I'll probably see who else joins before I make my decision

I'm in of course! I will think about my nom (like I haven't been thinking about it for weeks already) So I just have to decide between artsy film that you guys will probably hate, or fun film that you've probably seen...decisions, decisions.

Oh, I know, I have three ready to go. Pretty well known, I think, and I'm going to wait till everyone else sends theirs in and see what may be left and make a choice - unless of course I stumble upon something and go that route. . .

I'd like to join but not sure I'll be able to commit, but my eye is on this thread
Join Joel!.....You've been a great new member in the 14th Hof, and we need people like you to be enthusiastic about movies and be willing to discuss them, you're a natural at this!

You'll like this Hof too, it has a different 'feel' than the 14th Hof, more laid back and probably will have less people. All of the genre/decades Hofs I've been in have
had really good movies too. I enjoy these Hofs much more than the main one.

Matt join! everything I just said to Joel applies to you too. I know you are passionate about the 1970s, so here's your chance. But if you don't join, please hang out and discuss the movies with us

I'll join in the fun
Is the objective to nominate lesser known films?
It's fun, also it's work. If you join you get to nominate a film, but...you have to watch all of the other films that get nominated and then write about them.

The goal is to nominate a movie that you fully believe is great. It's not abut lesser known films, but one could be nominated if you thought it was worthy of being in a Movie Hall of Fame....think of the Sports or Music Hall of Fames.

Don't worry im up for the task.
Okay sounds good I already know what my nom will be then.

Cool, it's always good to get new members in the Hofs. I think I have my nom ( I wish I could choose 10 movies) I'm sure many have seen my movie before, but that's OK as I love it.
