I spent a long-time looking for an introductions threat, but couldn't find one... So... Hi!
I've been studying the evolution of crowd-funding and fan-funded film projects for a while now, and am considering writing about it a little bit.
Recently, I've starting hearing about various startups, like Legion M, who seem intent on bringing a more traditionally excepted "storefront" to these kind of studio productions.
What do people think about this? Is this the next wave, or this just one more downward spiral in terms of quality of content?
