cant remember this movie title...

does anyone know the title of an animated movie where there are humans (humanoids?) living underground in these tunnels in a seemingly post-human world? The girl dreams of fields of flowers on the surface, and there is a boy in tow, and the 'people' may be blue. They emerge from their tunnels into an abandoned subway station at one point, and it has a very 'pastel' look to it. Also, there is a male sitting on a tongue of stone by a river of lava, and is putting mushrooms into a yatzee-type cup and drinking it after a few shakes--like a martini. Any guesses?

Sorry, man. I have no idea what this could be. Do you know the origin? It could be made by the same guy who did "Spirited Away?" Could be something he do. But it does sound like a strange movie.

I haven`t seen this flick, but it could be Mutant Chronicles.
