Ok, so 2 things in my defence.

Firstly. I'm blind. I cannot see the pics that I post.

Secondly, all I do is use google images - in this case, literally searched 'Michael Palin Brazil movie' and that was the first image that came up, which is what I copied and pasted.

My compliments to you. I always admire how well blind people manage. You do very well here on this message board.

Thnx, although do have JAWS and zoomtext software on my laptop, that helps a) navigate and b) reads the messages, and so I know what I'm writing etc.

I knew a vocational rehabilitation specialist who was blind. He has a guide dog and some special gadgets to help him with his work. I marveled at how well he was able to perform his job. Technology can be amazing.

Oh definitely. Not that it's exactly a picnic now and it did take a long time to come to grips with it, psychologicially, physically, socially and emotionally, but I would've hated to be in my situation 100 years ago etc. Being able to adapt technology has helped in so many ways be able to overcome any number of issues, from how to find my way around to knowing what im buying when picking up something in a shop, and beyond.
