I think it came out before and was a teaser for the Box set... I don't have it (yet ) ... but the last time I looked in Virgin Records, they had it...

They had temporarily escaped the factories, the warehouses, the slaughterhouses, the car washes - they'd be back in captivity the next day but
now they were out - they were wild with freedom. They weren't thinking about the slavery of poverty. Or the slavery of welfare and food stamps. The rest of us would be all right until the poor learned how to make atom bombs in their basements.

Piddzilla has had the best choices so far. and the Led Zeppelin covers.

You mean this was a contest???!!!??? Damnit!!! And I just thought it was what each of us liked. *****....my night's ruined that you didn't choose mine.

My life isn't written very well.
Actually Slay, Pidd's cover art is awesome, but I'm familiar with most of them. Yours, on the other hand, I've rarely seen, and I liked looking at them for the first time--Cait's too. I never knew Korn had great taste in art. Interesting...really!

I was just being sarcastic. I also thought Piddy's choices were cool, but Caity's are too. Go figure.

I like everyone's choices... they are all very cool ... and if I remember correctly, the artist who did the Yes covers is Roger Dean and he also did covers for Uriah Heep...

Yeah, Kiss were my first idols and that album made me want to play in a band. It was the first really important album in my life, I believe.

Do you know that the photograph on the album cover was actually shot on a stage but not during a concert? They did it without an audience in front of the band and they stood practically still on the stage when they took it. They wanted to get a perfect photo for the cover.

[EDIT]

Hmmm... What happened to the Alive! cover, Zep??

The picture looked too messed up so I'm gonna download from somewhere else.

I know I've allready posted this wonderful cover, but when we're on the subject of Kiss anyway, I just wanted to say that this is my favourite Kiss studio album. It has one of my absolute top fav Kiss songs on it: Mr Speed. I love it! And the sound on this album is so great!
