80’s movie about a young man who was murdered

Ok, I need some major help finding a movie title with very little info. But if anyone can do it this community can!! Saw this one when I was a kid. Movie is probably from the 1986-1989 range. General permiss is a kidnapping of a young man (I believe he had glasses). The vague moments I remember were the confession from the kidnapper/murderer admitting with the words, “So we killed him.” Death scene I believe man was taken from a blue van in a forestry area and killed. Again, this may be a shot in the dark, but it’s nagging at me that I can’t remember. Thanks everyone in advance.
