Favorite board game

I've always liked Mancala:



Oh, and of course, Chess. I used to be such a Checkers afficionado until I learned how to play Chess, and now I won't go back.

What sets chess apart, IMO, is that you can become rusty. In a game like Trivial Pursuit you do not really lose the general knowledge between games, even if you only play with your family at Christmas.

With chess, however, I feel that you need to play regularly in order to maintain a certain standard.

My fastest is 7-something on an Easy game.
Trivial Pursuit is a favorite. My strategy is to pour rum down the throats of any opponent. So far, it's working ok.

Before this degenerates into an innuendo-filled campathon I'll say this: Sex ain't like riding a bike (well, you know what I mean). Motor memory is involved, I'm sure, but you may need stabilisers after a long lay-off.

Which means that it is like riding a bike but isn't really and chess is similar.
