You can add New Zealand to your list now, Chypmunk.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-52961539

I was there when their lockdown started. Back home in the UK now, but honestly had it been possible, we would have stayed. They've had some distinct advantages (an island with low population density, etc) but they've still done remarkably well to beat this thing.

I really wish I could but sadly the green list is only for those countries/jurisdictions where all cases of Covid-19 have successfully recovered. Those countries that have sadly suffered one or more deaths only go grey on Worldometers when they achieve zero active cases.

Grey list:
New Zealand
Isle Of Man
Montenegro
Aruba
Turks And Caicos
Montserrat
British Virgin Islands

They have done remarkably well, as have Australia imo. Low population density is definitely an advantage but it still needs good awareness, understanding and cooperation in such situations. If I was to be 'marooned' in any country New Zealand certainly would be in the upper echelons of my list

Oh I see, understood. Still a fantastic achievement to be on that list.

Indeed it is, hopefully a few more can get on either list in the coming days/weeks - the more I have to type in those regards the happier I am

I'm very wary of this claim by the WHO, and this may add to their falling reputation. A bit suspicious that the virus would be this widespread if asymptomatic and presymptomatic transmission was rare.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/08/asym...-who-says.html

There's some unclarified ambiguity on those two terms (asymptomatic and presymptomatic) that might change things a fair bit. CNBC already deleted a tweet because it sorta overstated the claim. Still up in the air.

I think transmission on this scale is pretty plausible anyway, though, for lots of reasons.

Very pleased to be able to add New Caledonia back into the green list after their 2 new cases both successfully recovered from the disease

Trinidad & Tobago also on the grey list as now free of any active cases

Does anyone else have any cool face masks? I'm just using Marvel themed neckgaiters. I see no reason to be boring with it

You should get you a star wars themed mask or something. Since you like Yoda

Disney has some cool face masks available for pre-order, including Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel characters.

Nah, nothing fancy here. But I don't have to wear mine too often so I don't mind being a little boring.

Since October I have written 3 screenplays, with another one currently being written.

I haven't worked since March 13th.

I might be going back to work in July.

I'm working near NH so I hopped over the border a few hours ago for cheaper smokes. I didn't wear my mask inside, the first time in quite a while. It felt unbelievable. I'm starting to hear things about people having health issues from wearing the damn things.

I think COVID 19 has made it to my street, unfortunately. Didn’t hear any sirens, but glanced out of the window a couple of evenings ago. Trees in the way, but saw several police cars & an ambulance. Then I saw 2 people in those white hazmat suits (if that’s what they’re called). First time I ever saw this other than on the news. Couldn’t see anything else, but, in view of the attire of those 2 people, I guess someone in that small apartment building has been sick. Or worse.
