Still worth buying a Blu-Ray player?

It's pretty obvious that physical media is dying, but the end isn't for a while still.

If u have fast internet speed downloading movies to ur hdd is a better way than buying bluray disks, its the digital world now so lets follow it. Keep ur collection digital.
That would be all fine and dandy if I didn't live in a nowhere area where I'm forced to have internet with a freaking data-limit.

I kinda have to buy Blu-Rays, downloading five HD movies would cost me probably $70 in data overage fees.

I prefer Blu-Rays anyway, since you get bonus features and you actually have a collection that's palpable.
