I'm looking for the name of a revenge movie, possibly from the 70's where the main Protaganist (a very light skinned African American) goes in search for the men that killed his brother. I don't think it's a western but it could be. This is all I know of it.

Anyone know the name?

The Bus Is Coming (1971) ?

Thanks but no. I distinctly remember reading the tag line saying " a light skinned black man" but I can't remember anything else.

Are you sure that it was African American? Maybe something with Yul Brynner?

A retired hit-man decides to take one last job to avenge the murder of his brother by a mafia gang. An eager would-be mobster helps him.
Other possibility is Crack House (1989)
Rick and Melissa are a pair of young lovers hoping to get out of the slums for good and escape the poverty and crime their families and friends have gotten involved in. All this comes to an end when Rick feels he must rejoin his old gang to avenge the killing of his brother by a rival gang. In the course of getting even, Rick is arrested, leaving Melissa without anyone to protect her. She falls in with a crack dealer and quickly becomes addicted to the drug. When she gets sold to a drug kingpin by a minor dealer to pay off a debt, only Rick can save her.

Definitely was. I remember that because the actor was very white looking but I believe he was ethnic. I can't even find his image online.
