Iris Chang: Suicide or Murder

In 1997, Iris wrote the historical novel: The Rape of Nanking.
In 2004, she was found dead in her car, shot through the mouth.

Iris left three notes the day before she died, the last one stating that she had a feeling that she was being followed, that there was a mysterious white van parked outside of her house for days and that her mail had been tampered with.

Could have been a disgruntled postal worker.

While doing research on her fourth novel dealing with the Baatan Death March, Iris again stirred up a hornet's nest that was not in the best interests of Japanese and US governments.
As to the best interests of the Chinese government, one only has to ask the question why did it take so long (60 years) before the horrors of Nanking gained world wide attention?
