ok i saw this film when i was much younger and it was made in the eighties or early nineties i think.
Set roughly in the 1950's a young boy has had enough of the school bully cheating at marbles and when a new craze starts up, spinning tops, he decides he will take on the bully and get the best top ever made. His dad tells him that the best tops were gypsy tops and when he gets one he beats the bully.
