Not sure about your music taste, but I'd be depressed about that.

If I told you that I spent the last 15 minutes staring at a can of gas and a grill lighter, would that give you an idea of my feelings?

You'd sacrifice yourself for the glory of Boyz II Men, how nice of you.

I mean, how can you not like these guys. They're a classic example of how bad music was in the late 80's early 90's.

I actually dislike them, but did all this to make a joke. I'm laughing silently at how not funny it actually was.

I am just a bit creeped out that "Fallin" by Alicia Keys was the #1 song on Sept. 11, 2001.

I am half agony, half hope.
"I Get Around" by the Beach Boys. #1 June 6- July 4 1964.

Spookily, the #1 song (I presume this was the American charts) when my mother was swearing like a navvy and my father was down the pub 'wetting my head' was You're So Vain by good old Carly Simon.

I grew up thinking that that song was about me. I was right!

I remember doing something like this ages ago - all I remember was that it was a Janet Jackson song. Time to check again...

3rd March, 1990
"Escapade" by Janet Jackson

I hate it when I'm right.

^ Probably. These are some songs I like that were #1 on the same day, different year.

1983 ... "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson
1980 ... "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen
1967 ... "Ruby Tuesday" by The Rolling Stones
