What is your favorite Tom Hanks movie?

Ready!Set!Go!...Er..Actio n!
While his role in "That Thing You Do" as Mr. White was small he had a hand in every little thing in the movie, including, if you look at the credits, song writing.

I am very proud of his accomplishment in this movie, bought it and the soundtrack as well as saw the movie in the theater twice to give it as much support as I could.

My own little way of encouraging him to make more like it.

On the DVD I love the music video extras, esp "There's a Party Going On" (prob the wrong title).

And I loved the way he brought his old Bosom Buddies friend (who's name escapes me at the moment) in to act as the host of the TV show. I used to watch Bosom Buddies every week.

(Funny side note: Donna Dix, who played his love interest on the show married Dan Ackroyd and also played his ex-wife in "Exit to Eden").

Not a big fan of Tom Hanks though.

Only for the weak
I think Hanks is kinda limited a bit to a certain character or 2(Gump being an exception), but I think he plays that type of character better than anyone.

Of his earlier movies, I'd say my favourites are probably Big, Turner & Hooch, and The Money Pit.

More recently I really liked Catch Me If You Can.

Bruce Campbell Groupie
I think I've already answered this with The Green Mile but I also like You've Got Mail.
