I've seen only a handful of these so I'm looking forward to the new experiences. Don't mind if you have 1 per week or 3 in 2 weeks, I'll go with the flow.

Welcome to the human race...
My nomination is on netflix if you want to add that
Not sure if it's on Australian Netflix, but even if it wasn't it still seems like one of the most available films on the list.

Throne of Blood (1957) - The Gunslinger45
Seconds (1966) - The Samoan Lawyer
A Town Called Panic (2009) - JiraffeJustin
The Wages of Fear (1953) - Gatsby
Blow-up (1966) - Swan
The Man from Nowhere (2010) - Foster
The Passenger (1975) - Iroquois
The Silence (1963) - Cobpyth
Why dont you play in Hell? (2013) - Kakarot89
Laura (1944) - Destiny
Happy End (1967) - Neiba
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (1963) - Sane
A Page of Madness (1926), youtube. - Jal90
Harakiri (1962) - Pussy Galore
Black Narcissus (1947) - MovieGal
A Single Man (2009) - Mistique
Airplane! (1980)/Netflix streaming - Friendly Mushroom
Catch Me If You Can (2002) - NatashaR
Taxi Driver (1976) - BouncingBrick
Alien (1979) - grampaglasses
Ben X (2007) - Max
American Beauty (1999) - Cole

Mikey and Nicky (1976) - Matt72582
Only Angels Have Wings (1939) - DanielM

I've seen the films in bold (exactly half of the films). The nomination for the Belgian film Ben X surprises me. I don't think it's necessarily that good a film, but it's cool to see a Belgian film nominated anyway.

I think I'm going to watch most of the other films I haven't seen too, because I've been meaning to watch a great many of them anyway. Great list! Looking forward to the discussions.

Mikey and Nicky was one of 3 movies I was choosing from for my 7th Hall of Fame nomination. It's an awesome movie, as are many of the other selections.

I've seen:

Throne of Blood (1957) - The Gunslinger45
Seconds (1966) - The Samoan Lawyer
A Town Called Panic (2009) - JiraffeJustin
The Wages of Fear (1953) - Gatsby

Blow-up (1966) - Swan
The Man from Nowhere (2010) - Foster
The Passenger (1975) - Iroquois
The Silence (1963) - Cobpyth
Why dont you play in Hell? (2013) - Kakarot89
Laura (1944) - Destiny
Happy End (1967) - Neiba

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (1963) - Sane
A Page of Madness (1926), youtube. - Jal90 - Well duh
Harakiri (1962) - Pussy Galore
Black Narcissus (1947) - MovieGal
A Single Man (2009) - Mistique
Airplane! (1980)/Netflix streaming - Friendly Mushroom
Catch Me If You Can (2002) - NatashaR
Taxi Driver (1976) - BouncingBrick

Alien (1979) - grampaglasses
Ben X (2007) - Max
American Beauty (1999) - Cole
Mikey and Nicky (1976) - Matt72582
Only Angels Have Wings (1939) - DanielM

A quite surprising and heterogeneous list. Neiba's nomination was a great surprise, Happy End is really lovely. I need to rewatch Laura, Catch me if you can and Taxi driver, so these will probably be the best excuses I can find.

I picked the one I assumed would be the least known among my top50, just in case people wanted to watch something new. It's easily available in YouTube and is less than 1 hour long.

Cob, don't forget A Town Called Panic is also Belgian. Love that cowboy and Indian and horse. Good choice JJ. Harakiri is a great film too, nice pick PG

True, although it's Walloon and not Flemish (which is what I am). But yeah, it's also Belgian.

I just added a poll, it closes in 4 days. We need to get the ball rolling on this.

I haven't seen many on the list. The ones I have seen, its be a very long time except my selection. You would be surprised at the ones I haven't seen.

I just updated the list with streaming sites that we can use here openly which are Netflixs, Hulu, Snagfilms and Amazon. I will look for them on youtube as well. That will be a bit later today.

Bolded the ones I've seen. A Single Man is a really good film, great choice. Hopefully a few more people will watch Blow-Up and then vote for it on the 60s list

I dunno. We don't have Hulu in the UK and you must have mountains more films on your Netflix than we do . And they wonder why people download films

Man, I'm behind.

Happy End with English subtitles is on YouTube.
Thanks Mark.

Christine, I will look for each film on youtube as well. Probably wont be today. Im very tired for some reason.. and may be going to bed early.

It's ok MG , I can look for them on YouTube. It's just annoying that Netflix in the UK doesn't seem to recognise that anyone would want to watch any classic or older films
