Idea pitch: MoFo Top 100 (or 50) Videogames Countdown

My list is ready to send whenever we are supposed to.

People can begin to PM them to me if they wish!

25 games, be they arcade, console, PC, mobile or *spit* social media.

They'll have to have been commercially available at one time or another, so that rules out weirdo porn stuff etc. Commercially available does not mean that the game charged for its services, however, so free-to-play stuff is fine.

We'd discussed iterative franchises earlier and I'll have a look at them on a case-by-case basis, although if your list is going to contain 6 FIFAs and 104 Maddens, run that by me beforehand.

It'd be great if we could do a top 100, but if it looks like we'll not get the amount of ballots to justify it, I'll have to make the cut to 50.

Yeah I just submitted my list, it's mostly NES, Arcade, Turbografx16 and SNES games

Sent mine as well. It's probably a boring list but whatever they are all games i loved and played alot.

If you really can't think of any more, then sure. I'll only count it if the total number of ballots falls below the scientifically agreed minimum, however.

I'm excited for this. I hope there's enough for a Top 100 (since a few of my top choices likely won't garner widespread support haha), but I'd be perfectly happy with a Top 50 as well.

The only one I can think of is that Golgot guy that's always in the videogames tab. Hopefully someone told him about this!

Ironically, I haven't even began on my list yet! I should have it done by Saturday at the latest.

So yeah I guess Tacitus can start the official thread anytime.
