What is the name of this movie?? It's alluding me and it's driving me crazy!! I only remember this one very vague part...

In a future world where society is in shambled our main characters are on a train traveling some where. During this train ride they pass the remnants of city destroyed by a nuclear accident. The train closes radiation shutters to protects the passengers...

Anyone have any ideas??!! I think the movie's premise was escorting a special person somewhere??

Please and thank you!

nah, it's older than that, i think late 90's early 2000's

That elusive hide-and-seek cow is at it again
For some reason, Ray Liota's No Escape and Gary Sinise's Imposter come to mind. Not sure why though as I can't remember specifically any train.

I can almost see a scene with large and bulky raised heat shields similar in design that would fit in with the style of the 1990 sci fi Total Recall, but can't get past that one impression.

Maybe that will send you down another path at least. Good luck!

I was thinking the same thing, I even watch the whole movie to make sure I wasn't going crazy, but unfortunately I am...

The problem is the train scene is only like a 10 minute part of the movie, but it's only part i remember clearly, so all my friends are suggesting movies about trains...

again the movie isn't about a train

This actually sounds familiar. Do you have any other information? How long ago did you see it? Can you guess what decade the film may have been made in? What language was it in? Any colours stick out in your mind (particularly for the ruined city)?

can't recall any actors?

Don't torture yourself, Gomez. That's my job.
I couldn't find a clip of the train scene specifically but this apparently happens in Babylon A.D (2008). While on an over crowded train, the radiation shutters close over the train as they go past a destroyed nuclear power plant.
