What do you love most about Florida? Im a floridian so thats a tough question. Probably the incredibly clear water down in Key West. Literally you can see 50 feet down to the ocean floor crystal clear seaweeds visible, and fish. Doubt you can get that in California.

What do you hate most about it? THE HEAT! Friggin humid hard nasty heat!

The Happening was worse and many were but TTRL had too good a cast and potential to be some overrated hack (Terrence Malick) that felt his philosophical babble worth hearing for 3 hours. It wasnt even a good art film and imo people that say they like it expose themselves as a poser. Someone that says its good because everyone else does but cant gauge good or bad for themselves. Which soccer team do you support and why? With great shame I admit I dont have a favorite team. Im a floridian so Ive just sparingly seen european football. Im intrigued by it though as its bigger than the NFL with the college football fan craziness.

Favourite:

TV Mini-series? Centennial though its very dated upon rewatching.

Crime? The Sopranos If youre talking actual crime I commit its smoking weed.

Animation? Tough question actually. Very impressed with Ralph Bakshi The Lord Of The Rings, but Pete Jackson owns that name now deservedly. Alot of Tolkein fans hated that cartoon. If you count CGI then what isnt animated now.
Ok - Watership Down, and it was damn good.

Documentary? Baseball by Ken Burns. If you ever wore a mit, swung a bat, or held a baseball with joy then watch it. Incredible on so many levels, and truly makes you fall in love with the game again.

Why do Americans think that Silence Of The Lambs is a horror film? Buddy that wasnt a coming of age story. If thats not horror what is?! There is no greater horror than what lies in the minds of sickos. Heck look at history and what conquerors do even. I almost said "in man" but Hannibal Lector types arent men, and are the real monsters in the world. Seriously Honeykid a werewolf is minor fare compared to the abductions that go on today.

Funny you say Silence Of The Lambs. The first night I spent at my own place having moved from Bradenton to Tampa I was bored and went to see a movie. I knew nothing about SOTL walking into the theatre. Needless to say the movie scared the shee-ut out of me, and to say I checked the backseat was an understatement. Dude I checked the shower even

I completely agree with that and it's always been the case, but that doesn't make SotL a horror film. Just because a film's about abductions, stalkings, killings, etc doesn't make it a horror film. SotL is, IMO, a psychological thriller, in the same vein as Manhunter, Se7en, Psycho to name a few that I've heard described as horror films.

BTW, I too saw SotL at the cinema and I can't say it moved me that much. I think it works better on tv and, even then, I still don't think it's the great film that many others do. But that shouldn't come as news to you or anyone else here.

I like the Raiders too, though I don't get to see much American football any more and they rarely show Raiders games anyway.

Would you say Hostel was a horror flick? If you do then its really the same type of flick as SOTL whereas Hostel was simply more graphic.

I've not seen Hostel (even though I own it) so I couldn't say for sure.

My uncles live there and they have this huge anti-typhoon house where we go to stay once every year, you are right Winter is a joke there I really love the clear water of the sea, sometimes we go to Bush Garden since it's pretty close too He started working selling ice cream and now he has his own restaurant in St. Armands called Venezia (we are from Argentina but that's the name I guess) you should check it out!

1. Honestly, Dan. If you both played an equal game I think hed beat you for the winning vote in the end. He was able to talk his way back into the game thru a player, , I know me or you couldnt pull that trick off.

2. Play. Hosting if done right is alot of rewarding work, and in Survivor where you want to maintain the intensity and excitment throughout, can be stressful. Having said that I do have some good ideas for games, themes, host manuevers, and could/would do it once a year. I might run DEADWOOD after the Super Bowl.

3. I would have said Danielgate when I saved him from being eliminated, but in retrospect it wasnt cause if it played out the way we wanted, he most likely would have backstabbed me and taken Cob to the final in S5.

Hm! I didnt play in 1 or 2 where you really established your reputation, so excluding those two Id say Dan helping Rhys win vs Wolfsbane so that he wouldnt be forced to take Wolfy to the final. That was the second thinking around the box maneuver he did that game, first was getting back in thru Wolfy.

4. Yes. My passion is my greatest strength and weakness. I just buggered myself in S6 by responding emotionally to an apparent attempted-backstab, when I should have gone ahead with my plans to work with that person anyway, it was late in the game final 5, being my chances were better against them in challenges, and the final. Im learning

5. Honestly for an all-around experience, Godoggos Survivor 3. Latveria had more high points, but it had its low points too. Other than Danielgate, 5 was dull. 6 was great but a different type of game, less strategy, more fun/showy.

6. Me. Besides me Ill say jiraffejustin. JJ is a straight shooter, smart, and as capable a player as any, he has gotten the worst luck though in team placements and events. After JJ Id say Sean.

7. Some. Im heavily involved in baseball and have taken advantage of other coaches watching the olympics and gotten some gems off waivers that wouldnt have been avail otherewise Im a Winter Olympics type guy myself, 2 person team volleyball and gymnastics are my fav Summer competitions.

8. Yoda, Powdered Water, and 7thson/Halfangel. PW doesnt come around anymore so Ill put Hit Girl in there instead. I met Adamantium but hes more Yodas best friend than a site member. I really like alot of folks, seanc, Citizen Rules, CosmicRunaway, and I even like Camo & Sexy though I fight with them alot. There are many others. This is a good site TUS
