Hello!
I spent 4 hours translating and subtitling to english, a famous portuguese "Intervention" song, from our dark fascist past Era, that was written by a physics and chemistry professor, member of the portuguese science academy, during the fascist Salazar disctator Era. The poet scientist was called António Gedeão, and he wrote these lyrics in 1956.
Later in the year 1970, the political singer Manuel Freire made this song.
This song lyrics were adressed to the fascist leaders in Portugal, and the authors faced great danger.
I believe I'm the first person to translate and publish this song to english. I hope you will like it.
