Yeah, I know which movie I'm thinking of. Although, The Haunting was stupid too.
House on Haunted Hill (1999) was lame any way you dice it. Sure, that camera stuff was scary...I've always hated that jerky-sped-up crap, it's so unatural that it's creepy. However, it takes more than a few cheap scares to win me over and this one did not.

Add to the list of stupid scary movies: Thirteen Ghosts. That was some senseless bullsh*t, right there.

Pfft. Each their own.

I'll agree on Thir13en Ghosts, however. I'd walked into that expecting a major creepfest. I was a little scared in the beginning, but mostly out of anticipation...and it went absolutely nowhere in the second half. A semi-interesting twist or two, and a laugh here or there, but I'd expected a lot more. Bleh.

That one ghost, with the big knockers in the bathtub, that's when I took it out.

She would've been pretty sexy if she hadn't been, ya' know...all blue, and dead...

If I could answer that, then I could probably figure out why I said it in the first place.



But I think I've figured out why "blue, cut-up boobies" sounds so familiar and funny to me. 'Tis because of the blue-footed booby, the bird that Vonnegut talks about in Galapagos.

God, I'm a freak of nature.

I used to think that was like, the most pornographic thing in nature; save for the Humpback and Sperm whale.
I used to call my little sister a Blue-Footed Booby.
