That's probably why every single actor in Hollywood wants to work with him. He makes fantastic films (he's arguably the best American filmmaker of his generation), but at the same time, it's also a whole lot of fun to be a part of his filmmaking process, especially as an actor. He's open-minded and welcomes everyone's opinions.

Brolin said today in an AMA that he thinks Phoenix has reached of level of " alien like talent" for this film. Expectations are through the roof on my end. I predict we'll be seeing the trailer next week.
