I had The Great Silence at #4 so I was close. I see people were split on that one, three high votes and four low votes.

Top 4 now..... very tight race, these last four had!

Oh, I was close again, but no cigar! I had predicted TGTBTU at #5

I predict ALL of my guesses were wrong

I did not like The Great Silence at all. It was nice to look at, and even the music was nice to listen to (it was Morricone afterall) but the dialogue was pretty bad at times. Trintignant was pretty good as Silence. But that was about it.

Nope my last post was wrong, ha! I had predicted Liberty Valance at #3

Did you watch it in English or Italian with subs?

The only film I didn't like was The Salvation, though my dad just watched it and liked it, so like I said it was still a good nom, just not my style of film.

Ox-Bow and Rio Bravo are a top 10 lock for my Western Countdown voting list.

I agree. Top 3 and at the worst, Top 5. Definitely a serious contender.

I'm on the same boat. Terrible, terrible movie - but I've always enjoyed watching it the few times I have and most likely would again.

Liked them all and it was more of trying to place them in the proper order of my recent viewing.
For me, Silence was a Dark Horse that I knew I'd enjoy but surprised myself JUST how much I enjoyed it.
