So here it is. My DVD collection. It should be noted that whats missing from this collection is a large VHS collection that I'm slowly re-buying in DVD format. Otherwise you might be wondering why I don't seem to list movies I've mentioned as favourites.

Typo in my own Thread title *sigh*. Can't even spell my own name right. Now its stuck like that for ever. *slaps forehead*

Weird Science, Weekend at Bernies, and Encino Man...sweet.

You have the complete series of Buffy as well (alot of fans on this site), you'll find a thread here in the TV forum filled with a ton of obsessed fan comments. I personally loved that show. Northern Exposue, I like seeing that there, I have seasons 1-3,a big fan of that show too.

Zen, I love you!!! Will you marry me?

Your list is so cool. It looked like a winner when I saw 50 First Dates (starring the, ever gorgeous, Drew Barrymore) Amelie, Battlestar Galactica, Benny & Joon and Better Off Dead.

But then you topped it with Breakfast At Tiffany's, The Breakfast Club and Charlie's Angels (at this point, you got the +rep)

But to also have Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle The Craft, Enter the Dragon, Ginger Snaps, The Lost Boys and Pump Up The Volume (among others) was fantastic.

Having this film, however, garnered the declaration of love

Return To The Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt

I'll be honest, I haven't even seen the rest of your list because I had to write all this. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

Correct my friend it is Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and Spaced is an awesome show, that they starred in before Shaun of the dead and Hot fuzz.

If you liked Shaun Of The Dead, then Spaced is a must. Shaun was, basically, the Spaced characters a Spaced/Shaun universe. In fact, unless I'm mistaken (and as he seems to be a big fan, I'm sure that N3wt will correct me if I am) I think that there's an episode of Spaced which is zombie in nature. Not sure how much they feature, but I think that's where the idea first came from.

Bring on the ensemble cast reply! Apologies if anything is a little incoherent. I didn't sleep very well last night so I'm a bit out of it.

First of, Thanks everyone for all the nice words about my collection. You share your collection with people, its like putting a little bit of yourself out there, so its nice to here nice things.

KasperKristensen - Thanks for the tip! I will have to speak to one of them. Though perhaps I'll leave it. It gives it that home made flavour *laugh*

harrylime - Oh Weird Science and Encino Man are definatly favs. They take me back to such happy places. I had Encino Man recorded off TV for years and but I missed taping the start up to the first advert break. Its nice to have the start on DVD haha. Oh and Buffy fans huzzah! I'm sure there is a long Dollhouse discussion going on right now *laugh*.

honeykid
- Oh I'm so honoured! Unfortunatly I'm already betrothed. I'm glad you like so much of my collection. I'm sure you'd enjoy the second half as much as the first! Oh and how great is Drew Barrymore. I would have turned lesbian for her when I was in High School. I still love her. I have Mad Love (1995) on VHS in which she drives a Yellow VW Beetle. This was my first car. I now own a white one.

n3wt - I haven't seen the Dead Like Me movie yet *whisper* though we have a dodgy copy that I'm yet to watch*/whisper*. I will buy it as soon as I can get it here in Australia.

JustinW - Thanks, I think I will have to watch A Scanner Darkly again soon actually. Robert Downey Jr. is amazing.

For those having the Spaced discussion - Yessss! This is one of my all time favourite shows. I was lucky enough to see it before Simon Pegg (and friends) started making their movies. The zombie episode you guys are refering to it (and not giving much away) is when Tim (Simon Pegg) has been playing to much Resident Evil 2 and starts seeing zombies everywhere. One of my favourite episodes! I'm also really pleased with the box set I found. Its the US box set with commentary by Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith (two of my favourite fan boys), Diablo Cody (yay Juno!) and a bunch of other people.

I quote from the box:
"Watching SPACED is kinda like watching a Kevin Smith film if Kevin Smith had any real talent." - Kevin Smith

Also if you liked Spaced I recommend the following UK series:

Black Books
The Green Wing
The IT Crowd
The Mighty Boosh

Thats just a start. They have a lot of cross over actors, and are all very funny.

Ok I've finished.

Typo in my own Thread title *sigh*. Can't even spell my own name right. Now its stuck like that for ever. *slaps forehead*

Too late!

I saw that after I fixed it.

I like your collection, and feel for you concerning the VHS. I have a ton of DVD finally, but I started out with VHS, way back in 90-91. I ended up with 4,000 plus of those. It's a pain getting them switched.

Don't torture yourself, Gomez. That's my job.
Destiny - Thanks for fixing my silly typo!

Yes the VHS thing is painful. I also refuse to pay to much for replacement of those movies, so its a very slow process. You have 4,000? Wow I'm impressed and a little jealous *grin*

\m/ Fade To Black \m/
I hated replacing my VHS to DVD I still havent finished upgrading some movies.

I totally agree if people havent see Black Books yet it is a must
