Question about the plot to Aliens (1986)

I like that in Aliens, the general consensus was that they wanted to change the opinion of the viewer concerning the droid that tried to kill the crew, and making bishop a good droid instead which helps ripley at the end...

It's possible that Mother was preprogrammed to re-route the Nostromo, but the decision to do that still remains with Dallas because he was Captain of the ship; computers are only tasked with maintaining the vessel and following the Captain's orders. The only one who could override Dallas was the ship owners, Weyland-Yutani (WY).

That meant that WY would have been in contact with Mother throughout. And even if transmissions took too long, WY would have still received the coordinates from Mother, which meant it would not have had to wait to get them from Ripley's lifeboat flight recorder.

Next, Dallas told Ripley that Ash replaced their science officer during the last stop. Some say that this implies that the company knew about the signal and wanted to make sure that the Nostromo was re-routed to it when it was closest, then use Ash if needed via the special order.

About the distress beacon, Cameron pointed out that it stopped working because volcanic activity damaged it.

For the second movie, how much did WY know about what happened to the colony? If the colony experienced four people facehugged and two killed because the huggers were extracted from them, then that would have meant two aliens. That's what WY would have known before one of the aliens damaged the transmitter. This also explains why they sent only one squad, because it would easy for a heavily armed group to take down two aliens.

The colony has no backup transmitters. The same for the military group that was sent. In addition, the military launches a warship with no captain and crew, which makes no sense because all ships, especially warships, have such permanent personnel.

The Marines don't set up a command post outside the colony, have no backup transmitters, and leave the orbiting warship unmanned, which is ridiculous.

Was the derelict ship destroyed by the colony nuclear blast? If it wasn't (some say it was covered by a mountain range between it and the colony), then there would have been no need for WY to get the alien and embryo from the prison in the third movie, as the ship had many eggs.

In the same third movie, Bishop tells Ripley that WY knows everything because the Sulaco computer fed it all information about what happened in the Sulaco. If the same computers were also in the Nostromo and the colony (presumably, computers so sophisticated that they could operate ships while the crew was in cryo-sleep would also easily be able to send all sorts of data to companies), then that would have meant that WY knew more than enough about the aliens and what happened to their ships and colonies.
