I would also like to declare my love and appreciation for Yoda. He does a great job with this site. Movie Forums is by far the best forum and has the best administration and moderation and also the best posters.

Thought I’d resurrect this one, as I’ve been feeling particularly thankful for this place lately. A huge shoutout to @Yoda (this should definitely be a yearly tradition, so let’s hope I’ll remember that this time next year).

My introverted self truly adores this place for the wonderful company and vibe, and I hope it sees us through these technologically perplexing times. On a separate note, of course I’ve come to watch plenty of films I wouldn’t have come across otherwise, but I’ve also noticed that Yoda’s own recs are always really special to me and affect me in unique ways (as with The Princess Bride which I watched earlier today).

So thank you, Yoda! You rock.

I'm particularly glad to hear that on the recommendations, I try very hard to think about the person asking and what I know of them and recommend things based on that, and not just recommend things because I happen to like them. So it's really nice to hear.

I don’t know at least moderator Yoda has a bit of a libertarian streak. Star Wars Yoda would be telling us what movies to watch, when to watch them, what kind of snacks to eat. Little green dictator if you ask me.

Does Star Wars Yoda even like movies? I don't think so. Moderator Yoda does so that is a point for him. Also, Star Wars Yoda is really short and kind of funny looking. Mod Yoda is much better looking than Star Wars Yoda. Also, what has Star Wars Yoda ever done for any of us? Nothing. Mod Yoda created and runs this site. And Star Wars Yoda has bad grammar and constantly messes up the order of sentences. Our Yoda is more articulate. Clearly, Mod Yoda is superior.

Word on the street is that SW Yoda is green with envy

Thank you, Yoda, for an unbelievable site. This is the only forum I post on because most are not moderated properly and nothing more than the Wild Wild West. This forum is definitely a step above all others.
