I tried to find a movie with a hot guy, sex and violence for Miss Vicky
I don't find Viggo hot (my taste in men is a bit... odd. Exhibit A: Joaquin Phoenix) but for the sex and violence.

My rationale for picking Mary and Max for you? Fredrick likes cats, so maybe he's more of a sensitive guy? I'll give him this one.

After thinking about a bunch of movies that include your likes, I decided on a great movie that just avoids your dislikes. My biggest concern here is if you were avoiding it for some reason.[/center]
I had no clue who picked this for me. Great choice.

Women will be your undoing, Pépé
Congrats @neiba!! and your psychic powers!!

Excellent HoF, @cricket!! Congrats in making it at 2nd place and a helluva job hosting!!!!

The trick is not minding
Rashomon was a good pick. Didn’t quite rise up to Yojimbo, Kagemusha and Seven Samurai. I really need to watch more older Japanese films, sadly.
Adaptation from Neiba was a perfect selection.
Congrats Neiba!

...Citizen: I'm just surprised there were 3 movies that I liked less than the Kurbrick.
I did something right then

No 12th or last place votes for CR. That's something.
And I did something right here too

@Citizen Rules...you didn't like The Mission? Perhaps I am reading things wrong.
I didn't care for it too much, but it was OK.

CONGRATS to Neiba! and THANKS to Cricket for coming up with such a neat idea! I hope we can do this again Cricket are you up to host again?

Good job neiba... your film got my #1 spot so YOU DESERVE IT.

and thank you so much to cricket for an awesome HoF

I thought it was very good.. and the music... Ennio Morricone.. amazing!

John-Connor - The General (8th)
Reason: You gotta see more silent movies!!!
You're the youngest person to ever say that to me, but I will! Thanks for recommending a great one ahwell.

25th Hour was okay.
My second choice for you was History of Violence one I prefer over 25th Hour. Should have gone with what I liked more myself instead of what I think someone else would like.

Made 3 fatal rec choices in this hof;

1. Gattaca instead of Le Samourai for Inmate
1. 25th Hour instead of A History of Violence for MV
2. Snowpiercer instead of The Player for Cricket

As soon as I came to this it was a no brainer. It blew me away and I see it the same way for you.
One of the best recs ever, not just hof, thanks! (Added to my top 100 of all time, and probably top 10 War movies of all time)

Great job hosting Cricket this format was most entertaining!

Also Martin Sheen wins 'most miserable' gif!

Of course ahwell had to send me comments with his noms, 1 of 2 members to be a pain in the ass like that
Was only teasing, since obviously I was the other pain in the ass

Congrats Neiba!
Rashomon is not one of my favorite Japanese movies, or even one of my favorite Kurosawa movies, but it's considered a must watch by many film buffs.
