50 Most Underrated Movies

BIG YES to Trick'r Treat!

BIG NO to Boondock Saints!

The second is definitely not for everyone. Also, it's an admittedly extremely touchy subject. Any movie that says 'society's problems can be fixed with heavily-armed vigilantes' is going to age poorly.

I feel I would've loved had I seen it in my Tarantino phase, haha. Glad you enjoyed it though.

My Blue Heaven: My dad was into that one.
Sunshine: EXCELLENT direction from Boyle, but dare I say it, it completely outshined the characters.
Top Secret: Definitely an absurdism classic, but I never realized it was understated.
Sonatine: Couldn't get into this one, but pretty good.
Nightbreed: This movie's the reason I wish Clive Barker continued as a director. These are the BEST costumes of the 80's.
What's Up Doc?: Almost incredible. My only problem is that Ryan O'Neal was a bad knockoff Woody Allen with very little humor, but Streisand was incredible.
Annihilation: Great spiritual sequel to Stalker. With better characterization it would be perfect, like Southern Comfort would've been.

Big fan of a bunch of these. Great to see stuff like Coherence, Enemy, and Holy Motors on the list.
