Your Favorite Movie from Each Year

Start from this year and work your way backwards. Your list can be as long or as short as you want, but no skipping years. The next time you post you can quote your original list and add as many as you want onto it. If you do every year until the black and white silent film era then you can restart back at the current year. You can go all the way back to the 1800's if you want, but once you hit the silent film era it's up to you how far you want to go.

The rules are simple, you cannot name any movie that someone else already named. So if someone else already picked your favorite movie from a year then you just have to go with your next favorite. Likewise if you manage to overlap into a second round then you pick your next favorite following that. If you list a movie and then remember a movie from that year you like more, it's better to wait until your next go around so it doesn't throw other people off. I'll link everyone's most recent list in this original post if the game takes off and keep track of the leaderboard for how long everyone's lists are.
