Until today I had no idea that was Tawny on the cover of the first Ratt album. I didn't like Ratt or Whitesnake, but that just seemed like the kind of thing I would've known back then in my metal years.

OK I lied, I kind of liked Ratt for a hot minute.

I've never seen the Whitesnake videos, but I remember the first time I saw Bachelor Party, I thought she was the most breathtakingly beautiful woman I had ever seen. RIP.

I actually like Out of the Cellar quite a bit. Lotta bangers on that record, and it doesn't get stoopid like hair metal would get later in the decade.*

As for Kitaen, Witchboard is quite enjoyable and she has amazing hair in it.*I need to see Gwendoline at some point, sounds right up my alley.*

I liked Round and Round when it was on MTV, but a couple of years later I discovered Zeppelin and thus ended my hair metal era. I've never gone back to revisit them, maybe I'll give it a go. I've rekindled my Def Leppard affair, after all. (First 3 albums only, naturally.)

And I forgot about Witchboard! A girlfriend "made" me watch it with her and I actually enjoyed it in spite of myself.

Sorry to hear about her passing. She had a rough life after the fame. But I'll always remember her for The Perils of Gwendoline and Bachelor Party, and of course the Whitesnake videos. Godspeed and peace at last, Ms. Kitaen.
