New announcements

Tools

Just wanted to tell everyone that I got a printout of everything that was announced at the Video Software Associate Show and Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas this week. It's about 500 pages long, so I'll go through it tonight and post everything tomorrow. Just to get ya in da mood...Forrest Gump, Star Wars: Phantom Menace, and E.T. are all on the way this year. This report also lists a bunch of TV shows that are hitting DVD, so I'll post those too. I also have a list of films that won specialized DVD awards for the same stuff that we talk about here...coolest DVD, best features, etc...so I'll tell y'all those too. That's it for now...gotta read...lol.

Latest Movie Review(s): Too lazy to keep this up to date. New reviews every week.

As far as I know, the Buffy problem was due to syndication negotiation difficulties which led to an overall delay on every type of Buffy merchandising. Fox may be able to get the set out sooner, but the fall target date is the very latest it would be released.

The Simpsons is going to be released in airdate order starting with the first season.
