I saw this and assumed right away it was a follow-up because of the "2" in the title. But turns out that wasn't the case at all.

There's also the classic case of Zombi 2, which of course is due to the fact that Dawn Of The Dead is known as Zombi in Italy, and when that became popular they decided to cash in on the success of it and name a completely unrelated movie Zombi 2. The only similiarity being that they both feature zombies.

"Troll 2" has absolutely nothing to do with "Troll" (in fact, "Troll 2" doesn't have any trolls in it whatsoever; goblins are monsters of choice in "Troll 2").

"Honor is not in the Weapon. It is in the Man"
American Kickboxer 2 is not a sequel to American Kickboxer. Someone took the "sequel" (which is about a cop and his ex-wife's former lover teaming up to rescue ex-wife's daughter from kidnappers) and gave it that title after somehow earning the rights. The real sequel to American Kickboxer is a 1993 film entitled To the Death

To its credit, it does have a pretty cool poster.
If you drink enough alcohol (or take appropriate drugs) it may also be bad enough for entertaining watching experience. Sadly I was sober when I watched it.
