Oh Boya!
That was quite a story.

I'm wondering at the feasibility though - I know canned goods can last a long time, but I think burying cans in the earth would make the cans degrade much faster (from rust and such), thus rendering their contents inedible much quicker? Thoughts?

Am sick of folks bitching about masks. It's a law that we gotta wear clothes. Don't see any karens bitching about that. Masks don't do anything? Really? Educate yourself. You the problem man, good job! If masks do nothing then explain Japan to me.
I think they hang around in Anti vaxx anti Govt anti mask etc Facebook mums groups, basically echo Chambers.

They make loud proclamations in these groups like "I ain't wearing no mask", then they go out on the real world and make a complete fool of themselves.

You ready? You look ready.
Looks like a second check is a sure thing. This one will be a much needed boost in the arm.

I still think it’s ridiculous how much money we gave to companies that could have weathered without it.

And I’m interested to see what the supposed education funding is going to entail.

You ready? You look ready.
This dude asking THIS question is a dick.

for starters they’re using the lack of receiving a check to bitch about not being eligible for countless tax credits that are no where near their tax bracket. And two, anyone complaining about paying someone else’s salary in taxes doesn’t know how to manage their money. If you’re paying someone’s full salary in taxes (even just a poverty line salary) you need a lesson in tax shelters.

But all that aside they’re complaining about not getting $1200 during a pandemic that has seen some people’s livelihoods destroyed. From the sounds of it they are still employed at $200k a year. That’s just epic doucheary.

I see his point somewhat. For example, my husband & I had an adjusted gross income of under $150,000 so we got the full stimulus check of $2,400. (I said earlier this year that we didn’t need it, but we got it anyway. I spent mine & stimulated the economy. Husband’s share, I’m guessing, is sitting in his bank account. We don’t have children.)

So this guy with 3 children who has $200,000 a year is wondering why his family’s stimulus check is not higher. I don’t think it unreasonable to wonder this. $200,000 for a family of 5 is not a humongous amount of money these days. In any event, I don’t think he’s a douche. It’s not his fault anymore than it’s mine that people have lost their jobs.

I will never pass up an opportunity to bitch about how my generation keeps getting screwed.

You kids today with your rock and roll music and your jive talk! Talking about how you "dig" this and "dig" that... why don't you get a shovel and do some real digging like in my day?

You think us old folks are squares, don't ya? A real termite, strictly out of the wood?
Why when I was a boy I was a real hep cat! The bees knees! The cat's pajamas!

I gotta 23 skiddoo now, but kiss ya later, I'm eatin' a potater!

⬆️ Warm is putting it mildly. My outside thermometer registers 100 degrees again today.

It's just stunningly absurd how many Americans don't believe that this thing is even happening. If you talk to anyone while you are out and about, there is an incredibly high chance that you can meet one these people. Don't believe me? Go ahead, ask them.

It's summer in the U.S. and the temperature has gotten warm. Has Covid disappeared? I don't think so.
The countries with the highest mortality rates in proportion to the population are Ecuador and Peru which are tropical countries without season, The hardest-hit parts of Ecuador, in particular, are very hot, the same applies to the heaviest hit areas of Brazil. This virus is not like the flu.
