I say this with no malice or sneering, but I think this might just be the worst final round I've ever had to mark. Or maybe it's just the ones towards the bottom of that list made it seem so?

I feel dirty voting for a final when I only played one round... Let me know if I am needed as a swing vote and I will pop in a fire off a ballot!

One round; five rounds; ten rounds; every round - makes no difference how many you played ... so how about I just say your ballot is needed anyway and you just listen and vote if you want to

That elusive hide-and-seek cow is at it again
David Bowie - Blackstar - Big Bowie fan, but this tune isn't one of his best.

  1. David Bowie - Blackstar - I wasn't going to vote in this finale, but due to some switchblade-flickin' foo, I had to crawl my fevered and sickly self out of bed to sort this blasphemy. Gah. I had to listen to this again halfway through to cleanse the palate and it's even BETTER the second time. SAXAPHONE. ima blackstar. we can't all be.
  2. Legend - Midnight Champion - Yup.
  3. Ward Davis - Threads - I must have missed this in an earlier round I fell out of. Sorry for that. Really nice and authentic. Really nice actually.
  4. Annie - Anthonio (Berlin Breakdown Version) - just weakly crushing.
  5. Metric - Waves
  6. band-maid - manners - me-yow.
  7. Max Richter - On The Nature Of Daylight - lovely.
  8. Steve Earle - Copperhead Road
  9. Dan Seals - They Rage On
  10. The Beatles - Got To Get You Into My Life
  11. Dust - Walk In The Soft Rain
  12. Keane - Perfect Symmetry

  14. Elvis Presley - A Little Less Conversation
  15. Led Zeppelin - Over The Hills and Far Away

It kills me that I never fully committed to Bowie until it was too late. He may have had a tour or two going but i just wasn't chasing concerts at the time. I really hate myself for that.

I saw Bowie perform with Nine Inch Nails way back in the 90's and it was amazing!

Sorry for disappearing after the first few rounds. The middle of the month was very busy for me. After abandoning two consecutive nominations, I was fearful that it might be a three-strikes-and-you're-permanently-banned situation now that @Chypmunk has been promoted to moderator.

Nah, the ever-revolving door will never be closed to decent players in one of these if I'm running it.

Still 24 hours remaining for @jiraffejustin, @Thief and @Derek Vinyard to vote should they wish to do so....
