Several years ago, I saw a pretty interesting alien movie on tv with my Dad. I'll try to name as much about it as I can think of.
-The aliens often pulled their victims through holes in the sand to capture them.
-The main character is a young kid.
-A woman accompanies the boy as they try to figure out what happened. I think that she was the school nurse, but I'm not entirely sure.
If anyone knows the name of this film, I'd be happy.

-There's a scene when the boy sees a teacher eat a live frog. That teacher is eaten by one of the aliens near the end of the film.

-The military attack the aliens near the end of the film by going into their base which is located under the sand.
-One of the military soldiers is killed before they go down into the sand, because he fell off of the rocks and got captured through one of the holes. I forget if any other soldiers were killed in the end of the film. I know that he was killed though.
