Movie from 2006-2007 in forest

There was a movie in 2006-2007 reminds me of like a 300 type movie when young man or boy looks Mexican he is running in the forest and I remmember people or animals chasing him and he gets to the end and then there’s a yard and people start throwing sticks in the air trying to get him

Whole movie is not English with subtitles

I don't remember much specifics but the first film that comes to mind is Mel Gibson's Apocalypto.
